Come to Life - a Sound Meditation

Come to life as the Spring Equinox signals the shift into new beginnings. 

This is your chance to connect with a higher sense of self and set the tone for who you are becoming as the season shifts.  Be prepared for mental and physical reset. 

Learn to work with your attention, heighten your awareness and bring your most potent and authentic self into the world. Settle in as you create deep states of being, relaxation and rejuvenation.

After a very brief talk and initial framing of the event, the session will begin with light yoga and breathwork designed to release tension held in the body. As we activate the body the mind will begin to quiet and still. (No special skill or physical ability required.)

Then you will lay back in a comfortable pose for about an hour as the live sounds from a variety of overtone producing instruments guide us deeper and deeper on a journey through and often beyond the subconscious.  Work with your attention and develop your capacity to simultaniously focus and to let go.  Give yourself permission to enter that state between wakefulness and dreams.  

What to Bring: Yoga mat, pillows, blankets, Bolsters, Eye masks, Water.  Bring whatever you think you will need to make your body feel comfortable while you lay on the floor for 60 minutes without feeling the need to shuffle and avoid discomforts. 

Thomasina and Bob Fisk are mind body facilitators with backgrounds in personal development, meditation, yoga, breathwork, music and mental health/wellness. They have been called to the power of sound through first hand experience and training, both with the instruments and philosophies of this ancient and evolving wellness modality.
