About the Event
Join together with your friends in the community for a Spring Sound Session!
Opening up to the truth of who you are is one thing. Now its time to practice letting yourself be seen! Being witnessed in an authentic way can have its own powerful impact on how we show up in the world. We see you!
The session will begin with yoga and breathwork designed to release tension held in the body. As we activate the body the mind will begin to quiet and still. (No special skill or physical ability required.)
Then we will lay back in a comfortable pose for an extended period as the live sounds from a variety of overtone producing instruments guide us deeper and deeper on an exploration through and often beyond the subconscious. Give yourself permission to enter that state between wakefulness and dreams. Allow the sounds and vibrations of the instruments to assist you in releasing what no longer serves you. Create space for renewal and connection. Discover your most authentic self.
Wake up your body and heighten your awareness. Bring your most potent and authentic self into the world this week.
Come prepared for mental and physical reset. You will feel invigorated as we settle in to our authenticity through movement, breathwork, and sound meditation.
And when it is all over, let's share a seasonal Ayurvedic meal together! Leah, our friendly local Ayuvedic practitioner from www.simplyveda.net will have a delicious meal prepared for us immediately after the session. She is a great resource for nutritional information and will join us for the meal so feel free to ask her about Ayurveda and how understanding your dosha can be important to feeling your best.
The meal is included in the cost of your session and we hope you will join us. This is a great time to connect with some of the people around you that are doing the same transformational work as you. When we do this work as a group we all have the opportunity to deepen the practice and be held in the space of the larger network. Introduce yourself to someone new! Share about a favorite springtime memory.
Things to Bring: yoga mats, Pads, pillows, blankets, eye mask...etc. Whatever you feel you will need to be comfortable. Do not let your body become a distraction.
Thomasina and Bob Fisk are mind body facilitators with backgrounds in personal development, meditation, yoga, breathwork, music and mental health. They have been called to the power of sound through first hand experience and training, both with the instruments and philosophies of this ancient and evolving wellness modality.
