About the Event
The "Good Friday Experiment" was conducted back in 1962. Walter N. Pahnke, a graduate student in theology at Harvard Divinity School, designed the experiment under the supervision of Timothy Leary, Richard Alpert, and the Harvard Psilocybin Project. The idea was to investigate if a mystical experience could reliably be induced in "spiritually predisposed subjects" (Graduate students in divinity school) .
In the original experiment half of the subjects received Psilocybin containing mushrooms before attenting a Good Friday church service and almost all of the members of the experimental group reported experiencing profound religious experiences. While we will NOT be handing out psilocybin mushrooms for this event **, we will be taking you through a series of Kundalini Kriyas and droping you in to a Sound Meditation session that is designed to shift your experience towards the Mystical.
